What is a transfer pin?

A transfer pin is a code that allows you to move your phone number to a new carrier. Depending on your carrier, this number can be found in different ways. Make sure to check with your previous provider on the expiration time of the transfer pin. Some expire within 24 hours.

• AT&T – Call (888) 898-7685 for postpaid or (800) 901-9878 for prepaid help. You can also dial *PORT (*7678). (Note: Transfer PIN is valid for all numbers on the account & expires in 4 days)​
• T-Mobile - Call (877) 789-3106 for porting help. (Note: Transfer PIN is valid for all numbers on the account & expires in 7 days) ​
• Verizon – Call (877) 567-4899 for postpaid or (888) 294-6804 for prepaid help. You can also dial #PORT (#7678). (Note: Transfer PIN expires in 7 days)
