How do I turn background music on and off?

After tapping the Music app, “Background Music” can be enabled by selecting it when playing Favorite Music or streaming a radio selection. Simply tap the “Background Music” button above the “Louder”/ “Quieter” buttons to turn this feature on or off. Once enabled, it will continue to play even if the “Music” app is closed unless you choose to turn it off.
